“The place itself was great, we were there for a week and shared space with two other groups and had no issues at all. We did almost all our meals at the place and didn’t run into trouble finding what was needed to make our meals or issues sharing the space. Would definitely stay again.”

All of the bedrooms are located on the second floor, but on separate ends of the house. They are connected only by an emergency fire door; otherwise they have private stairs to each suite.

We have had cautious guests end up immensely enjoying the experience, and have received zero complaints otherwise! Keep to yourself, or kick back around the firepit with a drink and make some new best friends.

You might be thinking - ‘sharing the common spaces with strangers?’ We truly believe it adds to the experience! Chris and Debbie spent their honeymoon in Ireland (we won’t say how long ago) and stayed at several classic BNB’s, where the host greets you, readies for you, and you meet and mingle with other guests. That experience stuck with them, and they’re still friends with folks they met on that trip. While still common in the UK and abroad, it’s a lost art here in the States.

We believe in bringing that experience back. Your rooms and bath are totally private lock outs. The entire first floor and outside space is a shared, with the following features:

• A large office/conference room

• A TV/fireplace room

• A half bath with washer and dryer

• A large dining room with fully stocked coffee bar

• A large, fully stocked kitchen

• A screen porch with lounge space

• A firepit, grill, and beautiful landscaping

“We rarely saw our housemates, but when we did they were lovely too and there was plenty of room in our shared spaces. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and hope to come back ourselves!”
